Gold 'n' Glory Official Trailer
Gold 'n' Glory Description
Gold 'n' Glory, originally known as Death by Gold, is a team-based PvP game. This game is essentially a team deathmatch, your objective is to defeat the other team. Your main goal is to get enough kills to win the game. However, in this interpretation of team deathmatch, you have a shop in your team's spawn. This shop allows you to purchase upgraded gear, weapons and other perks such as food and healing items. You'll only be able to buy these items with gold, which is only found at the very centre of the map. Fight for the centre, get gold, upgrade your gear and become glorious.
Gold 'n' Glory Rules
Please do not spawn camp the other team's spawn.
Please be supportive and kind to others.
Please do not abuse any broken features.
Gold 'n' Glory Contents
All about the Deathmatch
In Gold 'n' Glory, there are two teams. These teams are purple and cyan. You'll be able to choose these teams at spawn. Before you start any team deathmatch, you'll have to decide on a score you want to aim for. This score is by default, set to 100. This score is how many kills your team needs before the game determines a winner. The higher this score is set, the longer games will usually last. You can change this score goal at spawn if no game is active. To start the game, you can press the button at your team's spawn point, both teams need to "ready up" for the game to start. Kills are counted through a locked item in your inventory. This item can not be moved or dropped by the player. The item will only drop once you die, and this item is then used to award the closest player on the opposing team a kill. All player's kills for each team are totalled up and compared to the score you are aiming for.
All about the Team Shops
Each team, purple and cyan, have a shop in their spawn point. This shop is locked to your team only, just like your spawn point. You'll only be able to make purchases in this shop once you respawn. Any purchases you make are only available during that respawn. If you die, all items (including upgrades) are lost and deleted from the game. It should be noted that any food, golden apples or arrows are not deleted once you die. You can find these dropped items where you died if they haven't already been taken by someone else. Purchases require gold, which is only obtainable from the centre of the map. Collected gold is automatically cleared from your inventory and added to a scoreboard visible on the side of your screen. Gold is not lost on death. The store offers a range of weapon and armour upgrades, additional weapons and food/healing items. A list of all purchasable items can be found here.
Additional notes
Tier I armour is not dropped on death (be cautious of durability).
Tier II and Tier III armour is automatically equipped (make sure you are wearing Tier I before buying).

Decider will not balance teams, so do so accordingly

Further improved team selector teleporters
The selection area is improved to find players that are directly within a 2x2x2 cube from the centre of the pressure plate
The old selection area used a 3x3x3 cube which caused collisions between both team selection teleporters
Removed the chance for a "___ has joined Team..." message to appear (no longer happens)
Should now accurately select laggier players, and not half succeed when they don't get selected
Further improved the spectator teleporters
Removed update logs completely from the spawn island (they're not really needed)
Patch 1.2.1
Changes/fixes -
Updated gold to no longer require you to be in the centre of the map to have scores updated.
Gold will now not rely on your position and instead activate for anyone who has gold in their inventory.
Tweaked some formatting for the "game over" message to make it stand out a little more.
Tweaked the team kill counter to only display after the initial game countdown messages have been displayed.
Displayed messages should now not overlap one another and cause conflicting visual bugs.
Removed the trash can from spawn as it's no longer needed due to the removal of in-game update logs.
A system to pause the game when a team leaves is being worked on and will be released shortly. If you have any suggestions for features, please make sure to leave them on the xSnipez Game Discord in the #Suggestions channel.

If the system detects the team has returned after 5 minutes, the game will resume
If the system does not detect the team has returned after 5 minutes, the opposing team will be declared the winner
Added a system to remove cyan and purple team members from the game zone when a game is not running
Changes/fixes -
Removed the chance for a "___ has started Spectating" message to appear (no longer happens)
Tweaked wooden swords to no longer be dropped when you die, no more forgetting
This is to compliment the change that removes wooden swords when you upgrade
